Playing drums is a whole lot of fun. Teaching drums is my passion, and that is why I want to help you discover how enjoyable the drums can be.

I began taking drum lessons when I was in fourth grade. By the time I was in high school, I was playing the drums professionally. My teaching career began a few years later, and I have been performing and teaching ever since.

The curriculum I teach is based on developing technique and coordination, enhancing musicianship by learning and appreciating the history of music, and examining the drummer's role in music, both from a listening and performing perspective. All of my students learn how to read and transcribe music as we explore several musical styles. I customize each lesson to help you set and achieve realistic goals while having fun and being creative in the process.

My studio is outfitted with two drumsets, a vast library of learning resources, and recording equipment so that lessons can be recorded to DVD to help you practice more efficiently. I teach full time and have plenty of weekend time slots available. To schedule a free evaluation lesson, please fill out the form below, or give me a call at 720.404.2237.
